Do You Really Have a Money Problem?

For much of my life, I believed the answer to every financial challenge was simple:

Make more money.

When business slowed down, I thought I needed more clients.

When expenses increased, I thought I needed another income stream.

When I felt pressure financially, my first instinct was to work longer hours.

Maybe you’ve been there, too.

But one day, God challenged the way I was thinking.

I realized that most people don’t actually have a money problem.

They have a Source problem.

When money gets tight, our first question is usually:

“How can I make more?”

So we work longer hours.

Start another side hustle.

Take on another client.

Pick up overtime.

None of those things are inherently wrong.

But they all reveal the same assumption:

We believe our job, our business, or our customers are our source.

But God told us something completely different.

Your income isn’t your source. God is your Source.

Once you become fully persuaded of that Truth, your life - and finances - will radically change.

You won't react to circumstances out of fear.

You'll respond to every financial situation by simply doing whatever God tells you to do and then resting in the knowledge that it's already all worked out.

Now, you can stop chasing every money-making opportunity and begin discerning the right opportunities.

Looking back, the greatest breakthroughs in my life didn’t happen because I worked more hours. They happened because I listened to the One who provides every good and perfect gift.

The greatest investment you can make is NOT another hour of work. It’s spending time on your knees in the Presence of God!

So today, I’d encourage you to ask yourself one honest question:

Am I relying on God as my Source, or am I relying on my own ability to produce?

Your answer to that question will change both your finances and your entire life.
